Faculty Presentation

The Faculty of Forestry and Cadastre (FSC)  was established in compliance with Government Resolutions 433/03.08.2022 published in Official Gazette of Romania 781bis/05.08.2022 ((LINK – p. 46), but the specific study programmes are long-standing, as follows:

1. Bachelor’s Degree Programmes:

• Forestry – 2001, field of specialisation: Forestry, accredited
• Land Survey – 2005, field of specialisation: Geodetic Engineering, accredited

2. Master’s Degree Programmes:

• Forest Ecosystem Management – 2011, field of specialisation: Forestry, accredited
• Sustainable Management of Biodiversity and Forest Resources – 2017, field of specialisation: Forestry, accredited
• Surveying Systems and Cadastre – 2017, field of specialisation: Geodetic Engineering, accredited

The Bachelor’s degree programs of the FSC represent the first cycle of university studies and correspond to a number of 240 transferable study credits, according to ECTS/SECT completing through Level 6 of the EQF/CEC and the National Qualifications Framework.

The Master’s degree programs organized by the FSC represent the second cycle of university studies and correspond to a number of 120 transferable study credits, and are completed through Level 7 of the EQF/CEC and the National Qualifications Framework.
