The Faculty of Forestry and Cadastre was established in compliance with the Senate Decision (UASVM Cluj-Napoca) no. 8478\/15.04.2022. This change of the university structure was further sanctioned by Government Resolutions 433\/03.08.2022 published in Official Gazette of Romania 781bis\/05.08.2022.<\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

Forestry<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The 4 year bachelor\u2019s degree study programme in Forestry<\/strong>, specialisation Forestry <\/strong>has uninterruptedly functioned since 2001-2002, being accredited by ARACIS (Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) for a student capacity of 100. This study programme functioned in the The Forestry Office, now The Forestry Department of The Faculty of Forestry until 2022.<\/p>\n

The 2 year master\u2019s degree study programme in Forest Ecosystem Management<\/strong> is a programme accredited by ARACIS in 2011, for a student capacity of 50 and 4 academic semesters. The 2 year master\u2019s degree study programme in Sustainable Management of Biodiversity and Forest Resources<\/strong> was accredited by ARACIS in 2017 for a student capacity of 50.<\/p>\n

Land Survey and Cadastre<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The bachelor\u2019s degree study programme in Geodetic Engineering<\/strong>, specialisation Land Survey and Cadastre<\/strong> resulted from reorganizing the 3 year CADASTRE specialisation in the field of Geodesy<\/strong> of The Short-term Academic College, temporarily established in compliance with HG no. 535\/1999 published in MO no. 324\/07.07.1999. The restructuring was carried out in compliance with Law 288\/2004 and HG no. 88\/2005 and the study programme functioned in The Exact Sciences Office, now The Department of Land Survey and Exact Sciences, a department that belonged to The Faculty of Horticulture until 2022. There are 6 graduating classes registered between 1999-2004, the last graduating class of The College of Cadastre being the class of 2007.  In 2003, The College of Agricultural Cadastre<\/strong> becomes The College of Cadastre<\/strong>. There is also an academic extension of The College of Agricultural Cadastre<\/strong> functioning in Sibiu between 2001-2003.<\/p>\n

Before being officially certified as a bachelor\u2019s degree study programme, the legal status of the bachelor\u2019s degree field of specialisation in Geodetic Engineering<\/strong>, specialisation Land Survey and Cadastre<\/strong> as well as its inclusion in the structure of The Faculty of Horticulture were established in compliance with HG no 88\/2005, government notice 1002\/09.05.2005, HG no. 676\/2007 published in MO no. 481\/18.07.2007, p.31, HG no. 635 published in MO no. 467\/24.06.2008, p. 25, HG no.749\/2009 published in MO no.465\/06.07.2009 and HG no.1093 approved to modify HG no.749 published in MO no.684\/2009, p.12.<\/p>\n

The bachelor\u2019s degree study programme Land Survey and Cadastre<\/strong> was accredited in 2012 with the \u201cLimited Trust\u201d quality descriptor for a student capacity of 80. The bachelor\u2019s degree study programme Land Survey and Cadastre<\/strong> was accredited by ARACIS in 2014 with the quality descriptor \u201cTrust\u201d for a student capacity of 60. The periodic external evaluation of 2019 for the bachelor\u2019s degree study programme Land Survey and Cadastre<\/strong> results in an increase of educational capacity to 80 students. The quality descriptor granted in 2019 was \u201cHigh Trust\u201d.<\/p>\n

The master\u2019s degree study programme in Geodetic Engineering<\/strong>, specialisation Geodetic Engineering<\/strong> is accredited, for the first time in Transylvania, in 2017. The master\u2019s degree study programme in Surveying Systems and Cadastre <\/strong>had a  student capacity of 25. As a result of the 2022 ARACIS periodical external evaluation, this study programme was accredited for a student capacity of 60.<\/p>\n
